Killed in action, Liberator VI EW207, 8 crew (2 RAFVR), disappeared without trace while on a bombing raid on the marshalling yards at Porta Vescovo, in Verona East. MRES searched the area south of Verona after the war, without success. The presumed grave is stated as "Lake Comacchio" in the SAAF death register.
