Husband of Edith Biggs and father of three children, of Durban Welfare House, Farewell Street, Durban. Was by profession an Engineer and attested in Cornwall at the age of 34. He previously served with the Royal Engineers in the Anglo-Boer War. He was one of those many South African casualties who "disappeared" during the Battle of Delville Wood.
