Information:
Son of the Revd. Joseph Albert Robertson and of Eva Marion Robertson (nee Dorman), of Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa. Equipped with DD Sherman tanks, the B Squadron landed on Gold Beach five minutes before H Hour at 7.20. The Regiment advanced on Crepon and liberated Creuilly, then took part in the fighting at Cristot against 12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend. Lieutenant Robertson was probably killed during this action
