Died of wounds, received on 7th June in a Composite Coy attack on positions to the front which began at 0400. However, heavy enemy fire and mounting casualties resulted in the Coy being withdrawn under a smoke screen supplied by the Artillery. The Regiment was holding positions at Gazala, at the time. Died in hospital 16th June |
