Cause of Death:
Killed in action, as Bristol F2b pilot #A7253. Shot down in Moorslede sector north of Westroosebeke, Belgium. Plane set out on an Offensive Patrol and was seen chasing enemy aircraft in the vicinity of Passchendaele. Two hours later they were seen near Westroosebeke

Information:
Son of Alice Maude Clark, of The Croft, Redhouse, Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and the late Ernest Vaughan Clark. Came from South Africa Aug., 1915. Proceeded to France Oct., 1915. On Cathcart War Memorial. In 2016 a report was submitted to CWGC to indicate with a lot of research that Clark and his observer Noon are buried in Plot 59 Row D Graves 46 &47 of Tyne Cot Cemetery.
