Son of John William Jenkinson, of 158, Taylor Hill Rd., Huddersfield, England, and the late Mary Elizabeth Jenkinson. Born Town Top, Kirkheaton, Yorkshire. A commercial traveler in wine and spirits. served with the Natal Carbineers and Botha's Natal Horse in GSWA 1914-1915. Commemorated on the Dundee and District; Emmanuel Church, Lockwood (now housed in St Stephen's Church, Rashcliffe) & the Armitage Bridge in St Paul's churchyard WWI Memorials and on the Jenkinson family grave, St Paul's Churchyard, Armitage Bridge, Yorkshire
