Son of John Henry Lee, of 38, Bay Terrace, Durban, Natal. Born Durban. Educated Glenwood Technical High School, Durban. Altar boy at St. Paul?s Church, Durban. A junior clerk with the SAR&H. He had 6 brothers. Commemorated on WWI Memorial in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Durban. Commemorated at St. Paul's, the congregation made the decision to install a stained glass window in the Lady Chapel to honour Archie Lee and Basil McCabe. The images of the two boy scouts are based on actual photos of the boys.
