Son of Beleza, of Tsolo, Eeastern Cape. ***Formerly buried in Bleville Communal Cemetery, Seine-Maritime, his remains were re-interred at the South African National Memorial at Delville Wood on 6 July 2014. He was the first black South African to die in France.
