Found at Map Reference 57c.s.11.d.6.4 or GPS 50.0301, 2.8050. This is the North West edge of Delville Wood. One can assume he died during the fighting of July 1916. His means of identification were: G.S. Uniform, kilt, South African Infantry titles, disc and 2/6d piece and 13 other coins. His disc was identified as 310 Canning, D. but he was later marked as an unknown
