Cause of Death:
 Died in Aircraft Accident, Atlas AM3C Bosbok #958, near Eenhana. Whilst serving at AFB Ondangwa. On the 29 May 1981, while flying low level ration drops over a shona, the pilot clipped some trees while pulling up, lost control and crashed. He was evacuated to 1 Mil in Pretoria where he died on 2 June.
