Information:
Youngest son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. George Hogg, of Fresnaye, Cape Town. Husband of Dorothy Mary Hogg (nee Harrop) and an infant son George Brian Hogg. Born in Jeppestown, Johannesburg and commenced his education at King Edward VII School (K.E.S) in Johannesburg. He matriculated in 1936 at the South African College School (S.A.C.S) in Cape Town where he was the school Athletics Captain and was also a member of the First Rugby XV. He spent 15 months in the RNVR (Royal Navy Volunteer Reserves) before transferring to the SAAF in 1942. He was survived by his wife Dorothy Mary Hogg (nee Harrop) and an infant son George Brian Hogg.
