Son of Ole and Anne Dorthea Taraldsen (nee Gramstad) Sivertsen, of Red Hill, Durban. Born Durban. A clerk with the SAR&H. Served with the Durban Light Infantry in GSWA 1914-1915. Commemorated on Durban Light Infantry; 'The Greenwood Park, Red Hill & Avoca' in Red Hill Cemetery, Durban North & on the Durban Cenotaph WWI Memorials and on the SAR&H WWI Memorials in Durban & Bloemfontein railway stations. Also, in a WWI Memorial pamphlet produced by St Olav?s Church, Durban 27/9/1918.
