Son of Dering Lee Warner and Ethel Stainbank, of "Coedmore", Bellair, Natal, South Africa. Born Bellair, Durban. A farmer at "Coedmore", Bellair. Played rugby for Natal pre-1914. Served as a Private with the 3rd SA Mounted Rifles (NMR) in GSWA 1915. His brother Arthur Reeve also fell. The altar in All Saints Anglican Church, Bellair was carved by Mary Cox (nee Stainbank) in memory of her two brothers who died in WWI. She also carved the WWI Memorial. Commemorated on the All-Saints Church, Bellair; St George?s Church, Beckenham, Greater London & the Natal Mounted Rifles WWI Memorials
