He was born on June 29th, 1922, and entered Lloyd House in January 1937, leaving in December, 1938, to join the Nyasaland Railways. He represented the School at athletics in 1937, and in Boxing in 1938, and took an active part in dramatics. On Plumtree School Roll of Honour
