Information:
Son of James Aldridge and Louisa Antill. Born Mortlake Surrey, England on 26 July 1875. Married in St Cyprians Church Kimberley in 1909 to Emma Elizabeth Sarah Aubrey who had come out from England to marry him. He was in the Cape Mounted Police and lived at Postmasburg Hay, Cape Colony. Father of Joyce b.15 Aug 1910; James Aubrey, b. 21 Dec 1911 and George, b. Aug 1914. There are memorials to James Antill at Mortlake Old Burial Ground (on his mother's grave - she died in 1879) and in St Margaret's Church, Twickenham.
