Cause of Death:
Died of wounds, head injuries, at 1 Military Hospital, received during the attack on Eheke on the 28 October 1977. Six members of 1 and 2 Reconnaissance Commando were killed at Onalomono in Southern Angola while attacking Eheke during Operation Kropduif (Eheke 1). In order to attack the SWAPO/PLAN Base, the Recce Team prepared to cross an open area of ground as the SWAPO/PLAN forces were in the process of withdrawing from their positions. As the Team moved forward, they were caught in the enemy arcs of fire
