Cause of Death:
Died in Friendly Fire Incident. He was used as a guide for External Operations. During Ops Olyfhout, two SAAF Impala Jets were unfortunately tasked on a search and destroy mission over this same area although the area had been classified as a "frozen area". The Aircraft picked up the tracks and later came across the vehicles which were immediately strafed with 30mm canon. Rifleman Hayfeni Naikaku was hit in the head and killed instantly. A Buffel and a Kwevoel were also destroyed.
