Cause of Death:
Killed in action, Beaufighter JL843, attacking a convoy of M 401, M 5202, D/S Taube and Boknafjord. Shot by flak from the flak battery based at Osbrestad and crashed into the North Sea. The body of Pilot Sgt Nathan Cohen was found washed ashore in Beach area no. 44 on Søgard Forstrand on the night of 22-23/6 by the German Wehrmacht. On the next day the Wehrmacht placed it in a coffin and took it to Lemvig where it was laid to rest in the cemetery on 26 June 1943
