Killed in action, Beaufort II AW280, off Greek coast, four motor vessels with eleven destroyers south bound from Taranto were attacked by twelve Beauforts. Intense flak and fighter attacks prevented observation of results. Subsequent reconnaissance showed that one M.V. 10000 tons was sunk also one of 6000 tons beached, all Beauforts attacked by fighters |
