Information:
Levi was definitely attached to 2RR, but no record has been found which gives the Battalion as the one that he was actually a member of. Capell's very accurate nominal roll only lists white soldiers, which may also suggest that the Battalion did not have any non-white members. ref. The 2nd Rhodesia Regiment in East Africa. Name also recorded as Athindua. ref. South African Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
