War Diary records 3/1/18:- "Temporary 2nd Lieutenant Bailey to 2/RMLI to be attached." & 5/1/18:- "Temporary 2nd Lieutenant Bailey missing, killed." & 19/1/18 near Villers Plouich:- "Body of Temporary 2nd Lieutenant Bailey recovered & interred at 57c.R.15.c.85.92. (or 50.0774, 3.1563)" ; b.12/1/1887 ; Married Ethel Jones 5/12/1915.
