Found at Map Reference 57c.s.12.d.05.50 or GPS 50.0305, 2.8140. This is North Eastern edge of Delville Wood. One can assume he died during the fighting of July 1916. His means of identification were: G. S. tunic, boots, fragments of kilt and titles. Knife marked "G.H.R.", Piece of repaired boot stamped WY.14816, Piece of waist belt stamped "C.G.H.F." ***CWGC incorrectly have him listed as 1st Regt.
