Found at Map Reference 57c.M.16.d.05.10 or GPS 50.0696, 2.7871. This is East of the present day village of Le Sars. One can assume he died during the fighting of October 1916. His means of identification were: Khaki, boots, equipment, badge, buttons, and No. 3 numeral. He also had a knife marked "OSMOND", and 1/2 franc and 1 penny ***Possibly REUBEN HARDING OSMOND
