Found at Map Reference 57c.S.12.d.10.45. or GPS 50.0303, 2.8143. This is the north east edge of Delville Wood. One can assume he died during the fighting of July 1916. His means of identification were: G. S. uniform, boots, titles, "2" on shoulder, South African titles in pocket.
