Son of Edward Frederick King and Catherine Frances (nee Lucas) King. Adopted son of Harry Albert and Eleanor Julia (nee Lucas) Ferriman, of Durban, Natal, South Africa. Born Boksburg. Commemorated on Royal Durban Light Infantry & the Durban Cenotaph WWII Memorials. Commemoration stone in Durban (Stellawood) Cemetery. His brother Frank Kingston King also died in service.
